Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5 to 17 who are willing to accept the principles of the Girl Scout
Promise and Law. The Girl Scout program is divided into age levels as follows:
Girl Scout Daisy, grades K-1
Girl
Scout Brownie, grades 2-3
Girl Scout Junior, grades 4-5
Girl Scout Cadette, grades 6-8
Girl Scout Senior, grades
9-10
Girl Scout Ambassador, grades 11-12
The membership year runs from October 1st to September 30th, with
most activities taking place during the school year. Girls may join any time during the year. To locate or start a new troop
near you, please contact the Girl Scouts school organizer in your school.
Girl Scouts is not only a fun-filled
and educational program for girls, it offers unique opportunities for adults too! Many volunteer positions offer training
